Each crank is stress-relieved, shot-peened, magnaflux inspected, and nitrided through a multi-step heat treatment for ultimate performance on your 6G72. Made of 4340 billet steel material. The fully profiled counterweights are designed to reduce windage in the crankcase, decreasing oil resistance for better RPM potential.

BC crankshafts are crafted from top-quality, aerospace-grade 4340 steel billet. They are CNC machined on state-of-the-art, 5-axis Mazak Integrex 300-IV CNC machines to exacting tolerances of .0001″. Each crankshaft features large radius journals for added rigidity in high horsepower, high boost, and high RPM applications. The gun-drilled, CNC-ground oil holes have smooth surfaces for enhanced oiling, tear-dropped shapes for added oil scooping, cross-drilled designs for priority main feeding to the rods, and are micro-polished to a mirror finish for optimal bearing lubricity.
