These con rods transmit the pistons’ reciprocating motion to the crankshaft, converting it into rotary motion. High strength is essential to handle the pistons’ pressure. They are torsion-resistant and lightweight, matching the strength of I-beam designs. The slant design improves rigidity at the big end, while through-bolts and a smooth shoulder shape enhance overall rigidity. Two ribs increase the connecting rod caps’ rigidity, preventing bearing failure from big-end deformation, further supported by large diameter dowel pins. Increased oil supply prevents seizing failure, and offset placement boosts strength against high-revolution pulling. Compared to general ARP2000, these con rods have higher fatigue and tensile strength, ensuring a firmer big-end joint.
